The Bank of Delight and Nevada County Branch Bank of Delight (referred to in this notice as “we” or “us”) place great value on the relationship that we share with you and we recognize the importance of respecting your privacy. We realize that we gain no advantage by sharing our information about you, our customer, with other companies. We have prepared this notice to inform you about the information we collect (“information”) and our use of it. We value and appreciate your business and thank you for your continued patronage.

Nonpublic personal information is personally identifiable information about you obtained by the Bank of Delight in connection with your business with us. For example, nonpublic personal information may include information regarding your name, address, account balance, or account number. We may collect this from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms,
- Information about your transactions with us or others, and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
- Information we may disclose to service providers and other as permitted by law:
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that provide marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. For example, we may provide your name, address, and account number to a financial institution to provide you with certain insurance services, such as accidental death and dismemberment insurance. We ensure that such outside service providers or financial institutions sign legal documents stating they will use your information only for the purpose for which they have been hired. We do not make any other disclosures of information to other companies who may want to sell their products or services to you. For example, we will not sell your name to a catalog company.
- If you become an inactive customer:
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

We treat information in a confidential manner. Our employees are required to protect the confidentiality of information. Employees may access information only when there is an appropriate reason to do so, such as to administer or offer our products or services. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. Employees are required to comply with our established procedures.

*Email is not a "secure" method of communication. We advise you NOT to send any personal information (ex: name, social security #, account #, etc) via email. Our Online Banking has a feature called "SECURE MESSAGING" which transmits data directly to Bank of Delight without ever using the world wide web. You may submit your questions within Online Banking and feel confident that your personal information is safe. Protecting your personal information is priority at the Bank of Delight.
